Do I have to file an insurance claim first?
No. We can start by evaluating the roof and reviewing the findings. You can then decide your next step with a clearer understanding of its condition.
Why document the damage before filing?
Claims history can affect premiums and renewal decisions. I document observed roof damage so you and your agent can review the facts before deciding whether to file. The effect of a claim varies by insurer, policy, and applicable law. Read the NAIC consumer guide.
What if I don't need a new roof?
I'll explain what I found and recommend next steps based on the evidence. A replacement estimate is provided when warranted by the findings.
What if insurance doesn’t cover enough?
I don’t charge the $300 report fee if I find no damage, your claim is denied or only partially approved, or you have an ACV or RPS-style policy. I’ll explain the insurer’s estimate and your out-of-pocket costs before you commit to a roofing project.
Where do you work?
I serve Southern Colorado and the Eastern Slope. Call me to confirm availability at your property.
Who does the inspection and roofing work?
I perform the roof evaluation as a HAAG Certified Residential Roof Inspector and BEI Certified Forensic Inspector. ClaimReadyKev.com is operated by ClaimReady LLC, with roofing services powered by Patriot Roofing.
Does the documentation guarantee claim approval?
I guarantee my fee commitment, not your insurer’s decision. I document observed roof conditions; your insurer determines coverage under your policy. My evaluation is not a licensed engineering report.
What does the ClaimReady Report cost?
You can purchase a standalone ClaimReady Report for $300 and submit it to your insurance company yourself. If you later choose me to manage your roofing project with Patriot Roofing, I waive that fee.
I don’t charge if I find no damage, the claim is denied or only partially approved, or you have an ACV or RPS-style policy. I’ll explain the report and fee arrangement before we get started.
